Please tell us your device model, operating-system version, Reader build, what you were doing and what happened. Do not send a complete screenplay or personal backup unless we have discussed what is needed. Crop sensitive information from screenshots.
Getting started
Open the included collection and choose a piece to see its details. Use Read when an approved reading copy is included. Use filters to narrow the results; role profiles can rank preferred matches or require a match, depending on the strict-role setting. Save favourites and shortlists under My collections.
Importing catalogues
Use the catalogue import control and select the .sfcatalog file supplied by your curator. The Reader validates the package before installation. A metadata-only catalogue does not contain the screenplay. Obtain source material lawfully and follow the permissions provided with each collection.
Protecting your selections
Use the catalogue’s personal backup export before replacing a device or restoring data. Keep the matching catalogue package as well as the backup. Restoring a backup replaces that catalogue’s current personal data; export it first if you want to preserve it. The Reader does not automatically synchronise devices.
Text size and accessibility
The iPhone/iPad Reader follows system text-size settings and also provides an in-app larger-text option. VoiceOver is supported. If a control is difficult to use, please report the screen, device and text-size/accessibility settings.
