Screenplay Finder Reader
Find material for auditions, acting classes and rehearsal.
Search prepared screenplay catalogues for monologues, two-person scenes and larger scenes. Narrow your search by length, roles, casting profiles, tone and other supplied catalogue information. Save favourites and organise selections into private shortlists.
The Reader works locally on iPhone and iPad. Where a catalogue includes an approved reading copy, you can read the material in the app. Other catalogues provide information to help you locate it in a separately obtained lawful copy. Availability of source text depends on the individual catalogue’s permissions.
The current TestFlight beta includes selections from Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest, with screenplay adaptation by Christopher E. Green. Credits and permissions are available in the app. Metadata and advisory content notes can be incomplete; review material yourself before choosing it for a class or audition.
Beta access is by invitation; contact support@mgsdl.com for enquiries. There is no charge for this beta. Your searches and collections stay on your device unless you choose to export or share them.
